Offset got a massive tattoo of slain rapper Takeoff on his back as a permanent tribute to his cousin.
Takeoff posted the tattoo to his Instagram account with the caption, “Love you 4L & after.” He ended the post with the emojis rocket, heart, and dove.
The three were known as the popular Atlanta rap trio Migos, along with Quavo.
On November 1, 2022, it was revealed that Takeoff was killed at a bowling alley in Houston. The group had disbanded at the time.
During the 2023 Grammy Awards, there was a tribute led by Quavo, who paid a moving and emotional tribute to Takeoff. Throughout the performance, Quavo held Takeoff’s chain while the audience applauded.
