TikTok, one of the most popular social media sites, has introduced a new feature that enables content producers to charge users anything from $0.99 to $189.99 for access to exclusive movies.
The new “Series” function lets content producers upload compilations of paid material behind a paywall. One Series can have up to 80 films, each up to 20 minutes long, and its authors can set the price for access anywhere from $0.99 and $189.99.
The price of a Series can be established by the creator, and it can be bought using in-video links or the creator’s profile. But only “selected creators,” who TikTok supposedly let keep all money after appropriate costs, are now allowed to participate in series. But, as the program grows in the upcoming months, that is anticipated to change.

The new feature would not only aid in brand monetization but also intensify the rivalry between TikTok and Google-owned YouTube, which is recognized for its long-form content and promotion of its paid subscription service.
