Seydou Zerbo’s resignation from Asante Kotoko has been confirmed, a day after the team’s elimination from the top four following a 2-0 loss to Medeama in Kumasi.
The Burkinabe coach was chosen to succeed Prosper Narteh Ogum, who left the club at the end of the previous campaign after helping the team win their first league championship in eight years.
After gaining control, Zerbo’s team has fluctuated in performance and has found it difficult to win any of the matches they have taken part in.
On Monday morning, the club announced the choice on its official Twitter account.
