He declared, “I have officially picked up [forms] for the upcoming NDC parliamentary in Keta slated for May 13.”
“In coming to the decision to enter the parliamentary race, I have taken cognisance of the current state of the underdevelopment, alarming poverty level, youth unemployment, failing educational standards and general decadence of Keta Constituency, to which there is urgent need for paradigm shift.”
Mr. Jones-Mensah will be contesting against Kwame Dzudzorli Gakpey who is currently the Member of Parliament (MP) for the Keta Constituency.
He emphasized how devoted an NDC member he has been. Mr. Jones also stated that “It belies the fact that serious, strategic and transformational leadership must always come from Keta Constituency to lift it and the entire Anlo State onto a path of success and development.”
