Officially, Keke Palmer is a mother! The 29-year-old made the announcement on Monday that she and her partner Darius Jackson had welcomed their first child.
Leodis Andrellton, a boy, was born on Monday, and the actor shared on social media that she had made the announcement. ”Hey, son!” Palmer added a caption to a slideshow on Instagram that featured a picture of her and her boyfriend, Darius Jackson, standing with their infant. ”Welcome to the world, baby Leo.”
In December, the actress and podcaster announced her pregnancy by beginning her debut on Saturday Night Live with a sweet baby belly reveal on the Studio 8H stage.

She appeared to be attempting to conceal her baby belly when she entered the stage for her monologue while actually using the opportunity to share some joyful news.
“I’m especially glad to be here, though, because there’s some rumors going around. People have been in my comments saying, ‘Keke’s having a baby, Keke’s pregnant,’ and I want to set the record straight — I am,” she declared while simultaneously pulling open her jacket and revealing her baby bump.
“I got to say, though, it is bad when people on the internet spread rumors about you, but it’s even worse when they’re correct,” she added with a laugh. “I was trying so hard to keep it on the down low because I got a lot of stuff going on. People kept coming up to me, ‘Congratulations!’ I’m like, ‘Shhh, can y’all stop? I got a liquor sponsorship on the line! Once the check clears, we can get to the damn baby shower!'”
Palmer and Jackson’s relationship has largely remained private. Last year, Jackson made the pair’s Instagram official by writing a heartfelt birthday greeting to the singer.
