Jojo Wollacott of Charlton Athletic was injured during a training exercise with the Black Stars on Tuesday evening in preparation for their Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against Angola on Thursday.
Wollacott had to leave a Black Stars training practice early on Tuesday evening after a goalpost fell on him. The extent of his injury is currently unknown, and it is unknown whether it will prevent him from competing in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying encounter.
The Bristol-born goalkeeper, age 26, missed the World Cup because of a finger injury but is anticipated to open against Angola if cleared to play.
