The management of Mona Faiz Montrage (Hajia4reall), also known in the music industry as Mona 4Reall, has denied rumors that the Ghanaian socialite and artiste had been convicted and sentenced to ten years in prison in the United States of America.
According to a press release, the “publications making the rounds on social media and news portals of Mona Faiz Montrage’s conviction and 10-year jail sentence, as well as the current detention of her daughter; a minor, by US authorities” are all fabrications.
“We would like to state categorically that the said reports are false,” they wrote.
The management stated that “Mona is currently in the UK. She has not been tried or convicted in the United Kingdom or the United States. Mona has not been extradited to the United States or anywhere else in the world.”
As a result, they have advised the public to “ignore all such rumors and respect Mona and her family’s privacy.”
Mona 4Reall was apprehended by security personnel in the United Kingdom on November 11, 2022, for an unknown offense.

On Thursday, November 10, 2022, she was believed to have been apprehended by UK Police in collaboration with Interpol at Heathrow Airport.
She was forced to disembark from a British Airways flight to Ghana as the plane was about to take off.
Mona and her team had been in the United Kingdom for about two weeks following her performance at the 2022 Ghana Music Awards UK.
