According to Vice News, billionaire Elon Musk is working on a new product as a replacement for ChatGPT, the artificial intelligence chatbot that he claims is too “woke”.
Elon hired an engineer who recently left Google to work on his AI project.
One of the original founders of OpenAI, the parent company of ChatGPT, Mr. Musk departed from the company in 2018 due to differences with the management.
He has been criticizing the business and its products recently, including ChatGPT. The chatbot was introduced in November of last year and has since gained popularity all over the world.
The Information interview with a researcher served as the basis for the Vice report. Mr. Musk has hired Igor Babuschkin, a former employee of Google’s DeepMind AI division, to oversee the creation of the competing chatbot.
Mr. Babuschkin discussed the project with The Information and said, “The intention is to strengthen these language models’ capacities for deductive reasoning and factualness. This includes ensuring that the model’s responses are more dependable and trustworthy.”
The project is still in its very early stages, so there aren’t many details available.
The head of Twitter has dropped some hints regarding the potential name of the new chatbot. He tweeted “BasedAI” on Tuesday.
A day later, he published a meme showing “Woke AI” and “Closed AI” engaged in combat, followed by “Based AI,” portrayed in the meme as a Shiba Inu dog, frightening both “Woke AI” and “Closed AI” away with a baseball bat.

He said, “AI stresses me out,” during a presentation about company plans to Tesla investors on the same day.
When asked by an analyst if AI could aid Tesla in producing cars, Mr. Musk’s response was less upbeat.
He declared, “I don’t see AI helping us make cars any time soon. There would be no point in any of us working at that point.
Mr. Musk raised a red flag, calling the AI “dangerously strong,” after users posted about how ChatGPT is assisting them in drafting prose, poetry, and computer code.
