According to a source with knowledge of the case who spoke to CNN, Oscar-winning actor Jamie Foxx is still being monitored in a hospital in Georgia.
The person stated that “they are running tests and still trying to figure out what exactly happened.”
Foxx has been in Atlanta, Georgia, filming “Back in Action,” a Netflix original movie. The medical episode did not occur on the set, and Foxx was not taken to the hospital by an ambulance, the source previously told CNN.
According to a different person familiar with the movie’s production, filming is “currently underway and scheduled to end up next week.”
This insider did not go into detail regarding if Foxx still had sequences to shoot or if he would be returning to the set.
On Instagram on Wednesday night, his daughter Corinne Foxx said that her father had had a “medical complication” and that he was “on his way to recovery.”
Foxx’s reps have been contacted by CNN for comment.
