Not one, but two films starring Jason Momoa now have fresh release dates from Warner Bros. The live-action Minecraft movie, which the firm also revealed is coming out on April 4, 2025, will join Aquaman & The Lost Kingdom in the new release window.
Deadline said that Warner Bros. had set aside that day for “an untitled feature.” Nevertheless, the report doesn’t provide any other brand-new information regarding the film or whether any further performers have been cast. Even the character Momoa will portray is yet unknown.
The well-known video game was launched in 2011 and quickly gained worldwide acclaim. Because of its success, Microsoft bought Mojang, a game developer, in 2014 for $2.5 billion.
Shawn Levy and Rob McElhenney were once attached to a game-based movie that has been in development for a while. Originally set for 2022, Warner Bros. pulled it from the schedule because of the pandemic.
In April 2022, a report claiming that Momoa and Napoleon Dynamite director Jared Hess were attached to the project surfaced.
